Wow!

First game of the season with a new squad, the girls arrived with lots of energy and enthusiasm for the away game against Cobham which was taken to 12 minute quarters to combat the heat.

Early in the first quarter Cobham utilised their powerful runners close to the Farnham try line to crash over for the first two tries of the game. First quarter 10-0 to Cobham. At the break Farnham were gelling well as a team and the chat was positive on how to "tackle" the game.

Quarter 2 started well with a try to Farnham, spirits raised and much improved tackling. Cobham came back with a converted try but Farnham closed the gap with another try to close the 2nd quarter 17-10 to Cobham.

Quarter 3 went to Cobham with 2 tries and 1 conversion, 29-10 to Cobham. The Farnham team chat at the break was full of energy with every player committing to do one great thing to close out the game positively.

Quarter 4 was stunning! Farnham dominated possession and territory to score 3 tries and 2 conversions to level the game at 29-29 at the end.

A great game of rugby for the girls, a superb team spirit and huge resilience.
