Farnham vs Reeds (Lost 5-6)

Good start especially given it was first tournament for most. Archie did some great runs from the restart to score his tries. Would have made it 3 but foot just went into touch. Arun did a good snaking run to score a second try but put down over the dead ball line. Otherwise would have had a win with 7.

Farnham vs Guildford (Drew 2-2)

Starting to come together as a team but jus couldn’t turn it in to a in although I think we were the better team on the field. Archie did a good job tagging but really was team effort. The biggest evidence of this was Archie try which came from 6th phase ball.

Farnham vs Teddington (Lost 2-4)

Teddington were the overall winner of our group and didn’t lose any of their matches. Clearly a strong side. We chased each of their tries right down to the line and a couple of times were rewarded with turnover ball due to enforced errors right on our try line. Again a real improvement and a team growing in confidence.

Farnham vs Cobham (Won 4-0)

Great to end with a win. All the boys really started to get the hang of things with some very good tagging including some diving tags resulting in no tries being conceded. Archie clearly the star of the day but he came off at half time and was nice to see we went on to score 3 more tries and still manage to not concede any tries.
