From the kick off the match looked relatively evenly balanced with both sides giving and making ground

By Dorian Soanes

Farnham remained patient in attack with offensive moves orchestrated from Archie Walls
giving sublime service to his name sake Archie Sterland-Green who conducted the Farnham
back line.

As the sides squared up back and forth it was Farnham who drew the first blood with Oliver
Kitchen crashing over from a bullocking carry.

Farnham kept there foot on the gas with unrelenting pressure.

Though both sides were a little shaky in maintaining their own ball on the floor, Farnham
were getting the rub of the green here through excellent work in the forwards from Zander,
Johnny and Hector.

Notably Josh Bond was a force in the ruck making life extremely difficult for Cobham at
every breakdown.

Some notable carries also from Josh Bond and Hunter Watts drove Farnham forward at this
point in the match.

The pressure resulted in another try by the maestro himself Archie Sterland-Green who
danced through the Cobham defence from Farnhams second of the day.

Farnham rested a little on their laurels after this score, and Cobham were not happy to go
down with two unanswered scores.

Work at the back from Archies boot, Caspers running and back tracking by Freddie
Greenyer kept Cobham at bay.

Desipte earth shattering tackles from Mobi, Oliver and Spencer. Cobham got on the
scoreboard with a try.

This is how things stood at half time with the game very much in the balance.

The coaches half time team talk stirred the players sense of pride, lifting them up to refuse to
accept anything less than victory and Farnham looked to their own bomb squad in Seb,
Dylan and Taylor coming off the bench.

Oliver Opened the second half with another carry that bordered on unstoppable which was
quickly followed up by a score from Zander who took a break from his excellent work in the
tight to join the try scorers.

The next try was outstanding starting from a set piece through the Archies two and down the
whole line to bomb squad Dylan who delivered a perfectly executed off load to Casper to
score a well deserved try after all his hard work at the back.

The match then progressed to a bit of a stale mate.

More excellent work at the breakdown by Johnny, Seb and Zander. Further carries by the
Josh and darting runs by Mobi that often gave excellent field position.

Oliver once again broke the stale mate from a Cobham kick like the unstoppable force he
had become this match.

Cobham worked their way back from this try to eventually score again but it was too little to
late.

The final blow was dealt by Mobi, who had carried well all day, and used quick feet and
genius ankles to score the final try of the match.

Cobham were not a bad team and it really was the warriors skill and teamwork that turned
this match into a very convincing win.
