After a slow start Farnham quickly found themselves two tries behind at Chobham. The Farnham backline made some crucial tackles to keep Farnham in the game and help steady the ship. Farnham then rallied led by their forward line to go close to scoring towards the end of the first half, being stopped just short of the line by a desperate Chobham defence

At the start of the second half Farnham looked a new team growing into the game as it progressed, The Scrummaging from the pack was superb as they started to dominate the Chobham pack. Their efforts paid off following a break from a Ruck which led to Farnham’s first try which was successfully converted from a tight angle

Chobham extended their lead following fine handling along their back line, but again Farnham fought back led by the excellent efforts from the pack. Their persistence paid off leading to another Farnham try following quick work following the breakdown

This was good performance on which the team can build for their first league match
