A 34 all draw for Farnham U15 B's v Reigate at the end of a very exciting game

WOW......
An amazing lunchtime fixture for Farnham U15 B's v Reigate.
With the first play of the game, Reigate went 5-0 up from a score in the left corner. Farnham came back strongly after the restart kick with some excellent forwards and backs play leading to a try from Dan Bonnett which was converted by Elliot Milner to give Farnham a 5-7 lead.
A try saving tackle from Tom Lawson kept the home side out for a few moments, but they switched to the right to score a 2nd try. At 10-7, Freddy sustained a nasty bump to the head, leaving Farnham with no subs for the majority of the game (thankfully, he was up and about watching the 2nd half), and Reigate capitalised on the change to score and convert to lead 17-7.
Farnham regrouped and after some great teamwork, George Searle scored to bring the score to 17-12.
After another strong period of play for Farnham, Alex Weatherall scored near to the post enabling Elliot to convert and Farnham went in at half time 17-19 in the lead.
After the break, once again the Reigate winger was too quick for Farnham and the lead swung back to the home side 22-19.
George recaptured the lead for Farnham with his 2nd try of the match seeing the score now at 22-24.
Reigate failed to make 10 metres with the restart, Farnham won the scrum... Dan at scrum half to Elliot at Fly half to Alex Lloyd Mostyn at Centre, who ran through and around at least 4 of the opposition to score for Farnham taking them 7 points clear.
Unfortunately a fantastic tackle over on the right by Farnham could only save 1 try; Reigate won the line out and scored to catch up to 27-29.
With 5 minutes to go, Reigate scored and converted to lead by 34-29.
The tension on the side line grew as Farnham kept the ball in hand, won a couple of scrums and Alex Weatherall was rewarded with his 2nd try for the final play of the game.
Final score 34 all.
A thrilling match for both players and spectators, who exhausted (as you now probably feel from having read this!) went into the clubhouse for some well earned post match food.
