A run down the left wing for Rosslyn Park saw them take a 0-5 lead early in the match. Farnham then had a lot of the play and were rewarded with a try from Sean Dyall after some excellent rucking and driving from the forwards.
Shortly after this Farnham won the ball with confidence and Robbie Brinkman ran straight through for a try between the posts. Elliot Milner converted and we went in at half time 12-5 ahead.
In the second half Rosslyn Park handled the ball more accurately and scored an unconverted try to get close at 12-10.
A very tense last 20 minutes led to a few errors from Farnham, although their defensive play kept the visitors out until close to the end when they broke through the line and scored. With a successful conversion Rosslyn Park went ahead 12-17.
Farnham fought hard in the last 5 minutes and most of the play was in the opposition's half, but they couldn't get close enough to regain the lead.
A gutted squad came off the pitch after getting so close to a win in their first U15 league fixture.
Thanks to Greg and Steve for their coaching and Rich for running the line.
