The best way to keep up to date with Farnham R.U.F.C.

Tony Hughes, RIP

4 years ago By Mark Weeks

7th May 2015, FRUFC bade farewell to Tony Hughes

A keen sportsman throughout his army career and then at Wrecclesham Cricket Club. Tony also played soccer, hockey and, more recently, golf. He was a true sportsman and spent many years as the rugby club groundsman. As befits an ex-Regimental Sergeant Major the lines had never been straighter. He shall be missed by Farnham's sporting community.
Condolences were passed on from all at the Rugby Club by President Geoff Bond and former Hon Sec Derek Wall. Tony's widow Ann thanked the club for the flowers and the contribution to Phyllis Tuckwell.
