Farnham U16 Girls brought the curtain down on their HOB Cup campaign with a 51-17 victory over Reading Abbey at Rosehill.
The visitors made it three wins in-a-row across all competitions with a dominant display that included nine tries from six different scorers.
It was Reading Abbey who opened the scoring, capitalising on a slow start from Farnham, but the visitors soon hit their stride with prop Eira H powering over to level the scores.
Farnham soon had the lead with flanker Jess H rewarded for a strong run with a try that was converted by Poppy C. The lively Lola W, making her season debut at fullback, crossed for the next score with Poppy C once again adding the extra.
Fleet-footed fly-half Lara S was the next to cross as Farnham turned the screw and Eira H notched her second score on the half hour mark.
Reading Abbey rallied with their second try but they faced an uphill battle as Farnham led 29-10 at the break.
There was no let up from Farnham in the second half with Lara S evading the Reading Abbey defence before racing away for her second score soon after the re-start - with Poppy C slotting her third conversion of the day.
To their credit, the home side continued to battle and were rewarded for their endeavour with their third score but it only served to sting Farnham back into action with Lola W dotting down once again.
Strong running No. 8 Molly W heaped further woe on Reading Abbey with a trademark score as the game entered the final stages but there was still time for hooker Eva W to power over for Farnham's final try.
