A fantastically fun day for all at the Cobham Mini Festival

The teams and scores at Cobham were:

Farnham 1:
Ethan Woods, Matthew Andrews, Luke Stamp, Joseph Brockhurst, Julius Uprichard & Harry Sharp.
Overall: Won 2, Drawn 1, Lost 2

Farnham 2:
William Donoghue, Kyle Turnbull, Ben Thompson, Freddie Wallis, Dylan Bhandari & Jonathan Gordon.
Overall: Won 2, Drawn 3

Games overview:

Farnham 1 vs. Guildfordians 1: 10-5.
Fast paced with excellent tagging coupled with strong offense against a hesitant Guildfordians side.

Farnham 2 vs. Guildforians 2: 11-5.
Much the same for Farnham 2 vs Guildfordians 2 with good tagging at the kick off and Farnham again opened the scoring with lots of direct running.

Farnham 1 vs. Wimbledon 1: 8-10
The next rounds of matches presented stronger opposition but tries still flowed. The 2nd half saw tries exchanged between both sides but Wimbledon proved too strong.

Farnham 2 vs. Wimbledon 2: 7-7
Another tight encounter. On balance this was the best opposition our boys faced in the day. Had the boys had a harder first run out they may have taken them.

Farnham 1 vs. Teddington 1: 8-7
A further tight encounter with plenty of tries being scored.

Farnham 2 vs. Teddington 2: 6-6
Yet another tight encounter with tries exchanged at either end.

Farnham 1 vs. Battersea 1: 7-7
Much the same in the first match against next opponents, Battersea, Tries once again exchanged for the duration of the match.

Farnham 2 vs. Battersea 2: 9-6
A strong start by Farnham 2 in this match with 2 quick tries before Battersea came back with score of their own.

Farnham 1 vs. Effingham 1: 9-10
A free-scoring match as the teams tired.

Farnham 2 vs. Effingham 2: 9-9
Another free-scoring match as the once again, the exertions of the earlier matches were evident, but the boys stuck at it.
