Having not played a proper fixture for more than a month, captain Good was aprehensive about the teams performance against traditionaly strong opponents. These worries were forgotten as the first Farnham attack led to a driving mall materfully controlled by the pack which led to Gav Baker grounding the ball over the line. unfortunately the ref was unsighted but from the ensuing scrum Gareth Nibsy Eavan slipped through to score.
Although Cobham were stung into action the rest of the half saw them stopped by great tackling and once stopped farnham where able to launch some great attacks one ending in a run and dummy form Hart who despite extra christmas poundage was just able to touch down. Further tries were scored before the break by Doran and keogh(Snr)
The second half started with cobham's best attack repeated pick and goes ending in a try. Farnhams response was immediate and from the restart and follwing scrum, keogh scored his second. With changes in the farnham team including a short comeback from Fit Mick, the Escargot took some time to readjust but soon the backs, lead by Penn and Evans were begining to run riot and with good support play from the forwards were able to score three times more with Doran, Baker and Gooooode crossing the line, with Penn as in the first half converting all.
