Saturday the 14th arrived and Farnham where to play Old Suttonians. The last time these two teams met, it' was an extremely hot day and Farnham powered through and won the match, this gave Farnham need to defend the win with Old Suttonians wanting to clai

The sun was again out with Farnham facing into it at the kick off. The two teams began their battle as Old Suttonians forwards powered into the Farnhams line. With constant pressure Old Suttonians managed to claim the first points on the score board with a penalty successfully going over the posts. with pressure being returned Old Suttonians worked the line and managed their first trie of the game which was then successfully converted. Farnhams pack came together and knew their needed to be a change, so with a fantastic drive from ten to fifteen yards out the Farnham pack drove to the trie line where Ed Simpson touched the ball down.

Halftime came and fresh legs where chosen, Farnham needed to get their heads in the game as Old Suttonians were going to come away with the win. Pressure was instantly placed on Old Suttonions as the kick was taken and Farnham started to get themselves and their heads back in the game. Old Suttonians however had other ideas by working their back line they managed another trie. The pressures was still on Old Suttonians however as the aggression bar was raised, things started to get heated with an unnecessary scrap happening with a forward from Old Suttonians and a back from Farnham. This resulted in the forward receiving a yellow card and an advantage given to Farnham. However even with this advantage Old Suttonions came away with the win showing they had more thirst for the victory however Farnham could still come away after showing good discipline on the field. A special mention for the man of the match Chris Jenkins who had a fantastic all round performance.
