With Storm Dennis and a fixture backlog looming the Academy 1st Team moved their Quins Cup Fixture with Cobham to the 4G pitch at Weydon School on Sunday afternoon.
The weather certainly played it’s part in a tight 1st half which finished 5-5, with a well taken try from Farnham captain Ed Robinson.
As the wind and rain began to ease, Farnham had the best of the 2nd half with tries from Ben Atkins and Elliot Cattermull and a conversion from Fin Anderson securing a 17-5 victory.
The Academy 1sts continue their Quins Cup campaign at Old Emmanuel's next Sunday and the 2nd team welcome near neighbours Farnborough to Wilkinson Way.
