Former Farnham player backs his old club as Natta becomes Principal Partner

Long-standing Farnham Rugby Club supporter Natta is building on its commitment to become the club's new Principal Partner for the 2026/27 season, as the First XV prepares to compete at the highest level in the club's history.

Headquartered in Crondall and established more than 50 years ago, Natta has deep roots in the local area and is already a familiar name at Farnham Rugby Club. The company has supported the club for a number of years, but the new partnership marks a significant step forward, with Natta taking pride of place on the front of the club's shirts.

The partnership comes at an exciting time for Farnham. Alongside the First XV's progress, the club is seeing continued growth across women's and girls' rugby, one of the largest mini and junior sections in the South East, a thriving touch rugby side and the introduction of walking rugby. As Farnham continues its ambition to provide the best possible rugby experience for all ages and abilities, Natta's support will help the club invest across the game and create opportunities for players, members and the wider community.

John Whelan, Natta’s MD said “We have always believed that successful local businesses should contribute to the communities around them. Farnham Rugby Club brings together more than a thousand people of all ages, and we're proud to deepen a partnership that supports not just rugby today, but opportunities, friendships and participation for the next generation.”

Farnham Rugby Club Vice Chairman Gavin Baker said: “This partnership is about much more than a name on a shirt. Natta is a successful local business that already understands our club and shares our commitment to the community around us. At such an exciting point in the club’s development, we have hundreds of young players coming through, a rapidly growing and ambitious girls’ pathway and our seniors playing at the highest level yet. Natta’s support helps us continue developing rugby across the club and building a Farnham Rugby Club we can all be proud of.

Gavin continued: ‘Natta’s own ethos of ‘modern thinking, traditional values’ feels particularly relevant to us. We are ambitious for the future while remaining firmly rooted in the teamwork, respect and values that make rugby, and this club, special. We’re delighted to have Natta alongside us for the next stage of that journey and look forward to welcoming them, our members, supporters and the wider Farnham community to our home on Saturdays where they can enjoy an afternoon of sport, hospitality and friendship on what promises to be a very exciting season.”
