Massive Laser Tag game comes close to breaking record.

On Sunday 8th September Farnham Rugby’s Mini section took part in a massive Laser Tag game on the club’s ground. This was the first gathering of the section this season and the game let the youngsters have fun, raise money and demonstrate the club’s commitment to the community.
Sue Tiplady, regional fundraiser for Cancer Research said, “We’re hugely grateful to Farnham Rugby Football Club for their support last Sunday. Members donated £1, 529.13 to take part in the LazerLions World Record attempt. We counted 401 players, just 35 below the record. They are heroes! By raising vital funds for ground-breaking research, Farnham Rugby are helping to beat Cancer at its own game. We’re making progress, more people are surviving cancer than ever before. But there’s still so much more to do . Cancer is unforgiving, unpredictable and relentless… but there’s power in numbers and if we all work together we can defeat anything, even cancer.” Further donations can be made by clicking here.
