Saturday 30th August saw the girls take over Farnham Rugby Club — and what a day it was!
The event kicked off with the girls receiving their goodie bags before diving straight into a good old-fashioned sports day. Highlights included the welly boot throwing and the ever-entertaining dizzy kicking, which had everyone in stitches.
Next up was a well-earned BBQ lunch where the girls refuelled, ready for an afternoon packed with rugby.
After lunch, the players took to the pitches for age group training sessions, before coming back together for a fun and competitive game of mixed touch rugby.
With the rugby wrapped up, everyone headed back to the clubhouse for thank-you speeches and to cheer on the Red Roses as they secured yet another win in the Rugby World Cup — the perfect end to a brilliant day.
A huge thank you to our First XV, who played their final pre-season fixture at Weydon to give the girls full run of the club for the day — we really appreciated it.
Thank you to everyone who helped organise such a successful event. We’re so excited for the season ahead!
