Farnham Rugby Club President Geoff Robins is cycling from London to Paris in July to raise funds for Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY).
Each week at least twelve young people in the UK die suddenly as a result of undiagnosed heart conditions and since 2020, Farnham Rugby Club has financed the screening of over 200 young players. The screenings are run and organised through CRY in memory of Richard Brember, the club’s second team captain who died suddenly in 2018 of cardiac arrest.
All the money raised on the cycle, will go to fund a further screening at Farnham Rugby Club in order to help save young lives through the early identification of potentially fatal cardiac conditions.
If you would like to support Geoff and CRY, donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Once you donate they’ll send the money directly to CRY so it’s the most efficient way to give – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
