We are delighted to extend our heartfelt thanks to Hogs Back Brewery for their outstanding support at this year’s Women’s U23s Festival and the Men’s U23s local derby against Camberley.
A special mention goes to Paul Bradford, whose generosity elevated the entire day. Paul provided Hogstar mini‑kegs for our Player of the Match awards, along with a brilliant tasting session featuring Hogs Back’s celebrated IPA and iconic TEA. Players, friends, and families alike enjoyed sampling some of Surrey’s finest brewing.
On the pitch, performances were exceptional across the board. Congratulations to Sam Baker, who claimed Men’s Player of the Match, and to Hattie Stockham, one of our Women’s U23s Players of the Match, with four additional winners from each club.
This year’s Surrey Women’s U23s Festival brought together five fantastic teams:
Farnham/Guildford, Cobham, Reigatians, Guildfordians, and Egham Hollowegians.
The pitches were buzzing with talent, teamwork, and competitive spirit, all cheered on by hundreds of spectators who joined us in the post Christmas lull.
The celebrations didn’t stop at the final whistle. The clubhouse came alive with cocktails crafted by our resident mixologist Max Foskett from Dead Man’s Fingers, while Joe Rider, former player and referee, filled the room with live vocals that kept the atmosphere vibrant well into the evening.
A huge thank you must also go to all coaches, club staff, and the dedicated members of the U23s group whose hard work and organisation made the entire event possible. Their commitment continues to drive the growth of this festival year after year.
It was inspiring to see the Farnham community come together and breathe life into the club during the quiet Christmas, New Year period. This event has grown enormously since the post Covid years, and this year felt like a real milestone in its evolution.
Once again, our sincere appreciation to Hogs Back Brewery and Paul Bradford for helping make the day unforgettable.
