Thank you also to all the amazing volunteers who made this event happen from start to finish - from the planning behind the scenes, set up & clear up on the day AND those who came back again on Saturday AM to allow for rugby to continue this weekend.

With tickets sales 40% higher than the previous year it was a fantastic fundraising event for the club and could not have come at a better time as at the beginning of the same week it become clear that the club’s main heating boiler had to be replaced!

It is hard to believe that the clubhouse is now 13 years old. Since 2012 it has been at the heart of our rugby club and like all clubhouses lived a hard life! Today many fixtures and fittings are ready to be replaced and updated. So fundraising events such as our fireworks night are not only great fun, they also help us fund the upkeep of our facilities.

These improvements will continue to be needed so please do support the club in any way you can, including signing-up to the recently launched Club Lotto here, which has been specifically designed to generate funds for these improvements.
