A HEALTHY START TO THE RUGBY SEASONLinda Mitchell, senior physiotherapist at Clare Park Hospital, Farnham is helping Farnham Rugby Club to keep in shape for the season. This is part of Clare Park’s 12 month sponsorship deal with Farnham Rugby Club. According to Linda, who has experience working with the Olympics team, “Clare Park’s input is to improve on training techniques, warm up and nutrition. Ultimately, the team at Clare Park is working with Farnham Rugby Club to help players to reduce injuries and time out of the game. We can also offer medical treatment to players, when needed, in order to ensure as healthy and fit a team as possible. We really hope that Farnham Rugby Club has a winning season.”
As part of the sponsorship deal, Clare Park’s logo is embroidered on the team rugby shirts and Clare Park will be advertising at the Rugby Club.

A former Farnham RUFC mini junior and 1st XV player Peter has recently returned to London Irish the Club with whom he had his first professional contract. During RWC2007 we at last saw two of our "old boys" playing 9 & 10 in England shirts. 
If you are unlucky not to have tickets for Twickenham then book your place to view the games live in the Club bar. There is always a great atmosphere with a large number of vociferous Club members watching.
